On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the 丝瓜视频下载 (丝瓜视频下载) looks back at the Frost and Fire Games, which were held in March 2025.聽
These games have become an annual 丝瓜视频下载 tradition, where secondary and elementary students work together to make learning about Indigenous culture and heritage fun and engaging.聽
As 丝瓜视频下载 Senior Indigenous Student Representative, Isaac Aid, said:
鈥淭he Frost and Fire Games carry the heart and spirit of Indigenous traditions, resilience, strength and connection. They teach us about coming together, learning from one another and celebrating a culture that has been passed down through generations. Indigenous traditions aren鈥檛 just history, they鈥檙e alive, they鈥檙e thriving, and they鈥檙e meant to be celebrated.鈥
Thank you to the family of schools at St. Brother Andr茅 Catholic High School in Markham, Ont, and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Academy in Keswick, Ont., for making the Frost and Fire Games during the 2024-25 school year possible. Also, thank you to the Indigenous community partners who guided these students throughout their learning journey.聽
