On Thursday, March 31, 2022, the all-new “STREAM Centres of Excellence” launched across the ˿Ƶ (˿Ƶ) with Grand Opening celebrations that included Student Experience Demonstrations, an original Prayer of Dedication and special Video Messages of Encouragement from noted leaders in the science and technology community including:

The ceremonies were held at St. Agnes of Assisi CES in Woodbridge, one of six dedicated STREAM facilities located within ˿Ƶ schools across York Region:

The Grand Opening program was Hosted by ˿Ƶ Director of Education, Domenic Scuglia, along with ˿Ƶ Chair of the Board of Trustees, Elizabeth Crowe. Attendees were greeted on arrival and ushered in by a talented team of St. Agnes Student Ambassadors: Edward, Melanie, John, Youiel, Ava and Angelica, helping celebrate a joyful morning of faith, fellowship and new beginnings.
Also on hand to support the launch were Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Maria Marchese (Vaughan Area 3); Carol Cotton (Trustee for Markham, Area 1); Maria Iafrate (Trustee for Richmond Hill); Domenic Mazzotta (Trustee for Richmond Hill); Peter De Qunital and Sara Figliomeni, Co-Chairs of the St. Agnes Catholic School Council; along with STREAM Student Ambassadors Mirella, Myia and Bianca.
The festivities were capped off with a Spring-themed reception in the Library, hosted by St. Agnes of Assisi CES Principal, Alida Filippelli, and her team: Pat Lombardi, Linda Zanette, Nadia D’Addario and Elisa Aquino.
